Why is there a monthly fee?
The monthly fee covers more than just “hosting.” It includes keeping your site secure with regular updates, backing up your data so nothing gets lost, monitoring for any issues, and having our team ready to help whenever you need us. Think of it like a utility bill, you’re paying for ongoing service that keeps the lights on. Agencies that charge $3,000+ upfront often leave you on your own after launch. We stay with you.
Do I actually own my website and domain?
Your domain name: 100% yours. We handle the renewals so your web address never expires, but you are always listed as the legal owner (the “registrant”). Your brand name belongs to you. Period.
Your website files: While you’re a subscriber, we host and maintain your site. If you ever cancel, the design and code can be transferred to you with a one-time buyout purchase. We’ll never hold your business hostage.
What if I want to cancel?
We don’t do long term contracts. You can cancel anytime with no penalties and no guilt trips. If you leave, your domain transfers to you at no cost (it’s already yours). If you’d like to take the website design files with you, we offer a simple buyout option. We make leaving easy because we believe you should want to stay, not have to.
